I love the night,
I love the dream,
I am the breath between the stars,
The silence between two heartbeats.
I am something in between,
Moonlight's shadow and the cracked dawn.
I am a goddess or a witch,
I am the night, I am the day.
I am "something" that everyone says,
They call me by different names.
Afraid of the power that I possess,
They have never seen anything like me.
I hold the winds and the tides in my hands,
I can make thunderstorms, erase everything around,
With only one word that I know,
Just one word and all of you will say goodbye.
I am the thunder, I am the fire,
The snow that whispers, the rain that quivers,
I am everything in so much pain.
I am the dark, I am the light,
I am everything around —
Flowers, trees, wind, the sea, the night, the day.
How can you understand what I am, what I feel, and say,
When you are not connected to your soul?
You cannot see me for who I truly am,
You only see what your eyes allow you to perceive.
I am beyond your sight, beyond your mind,
The eternal force, the pulse of the universe.
